One of the largest blood banks in the U.S., with over one hundred donation centers and thousands of blood drives nationwide, has been a trusted resource for hospitals and patients across the country. Prior to the pandemic, the organization underwent a significant rebrand to unify its various divisions.

The rebrand project presented leadership with a new challenge: how to successfully introduce a new brand identity in the midst of global health chaos while still garnering blood donations.

The Strategy

Deliver positive messages and a multi-channel approach to build trust and attract new blood donors. Key elements included partnerships, social media influencers, out-of-home marketing, digital ads, and email campaigns, all tailored to reach people spending more time online.

The Results

The campaign generated 9.1 billion impressions, increased website traffic and blood donations, and achieved the lowest cost per acquisition in the organization’s recent history.

One of the largest health networks in Northwest Indiana, consisting of three hospitals and a couple dozen clinics, has long been a trusted provider of medical and health services to the local community. The network’s dedicated team of doctors and executive leadership was committed to offering the best possible care to their patients.

Raising Awareness to Combat Poverty in Chicago

Overview

For over 150 years, the Salvation Army has been a global leader in humanitarian aid assisting people facing poverty, drug adiction, and work inestability. With the increased competition for donations during the year-end holiday season, the Chicago division needed to revitalize its traditional Red Kettle campaign.

The Challenge

With most donations shifting online and fewer people carrying cash, the challenge was to adapt this well-known practice for a digital world, primarily smartphones.

The Strategy

Identify the most effective communication channels and create an engaging campaign that would resonate with modern donors and increase contributions. We launched a digital and social media campaign to adapt to the use of QR codes to facilitate donations.

The Results

By scanning the codes, donors were directed to a rebranded website with a seamless online giving process. This approach, combined with email marketing and digital ads, drove significant traffic to the site and increased donations compared to previous years.
